Who can rent the Conference Centre?

Priority will be given to oil and gas-related functions. However, professional bodies and corporate institutions can apply for the use of the Conference Centre albeit on a first-come-first-serve basis.

What is the cost of renting the Conference Centre?

US$10,000.00 per day (Exclusive of a management fee of $45.00 per day)

What is the capacity of the Conference Centre?

The Main Conference Room on the ground floor has a capacity of approximately 800 users, while the six break-out seminar rooms on the 1st floor can accommodate approximately 60 users each.

Socially distanced spacing in the main conference room gives about 420 users.

Socially distanced spacing in the seminar rooms gives about 30 users each. 

How many Seminar rooms are available for use?

There are six seminar rooms available for use

Who can rent the office space?

Subject to availability of space, the lettable space on the office building is open to legitimate businesses that meet the Landlord’s selection criteria.

What is the maximum lettable floor area available for rent in the office building?

1500m2, which represents one typical floor.

What is the least lettable floor area available for rent in the office building?

375m2

What is the cost/sqm of the office space?

US$450 per m2

What is the cost of the service charge?

US$45 per m2

What does the service charge cover?

It primarily covers utility, security, janitorial, and operations & maintenance services.

What is the cost of leasing space on the business floor?

US$450 per m2

How can I apply for office space/use of the Conference Centre?

All formal enquiries should be directed to:

Can tenants make use of the staff restaurant?

This is subject to the conditions of the lease agreement.

Can tenants make use of the Multi-Level Car Park?

Yes, but strictly in line with allocation and car parking policy.

How do you get access to the NCDMB Office for official business?

Visitation to the Board for any reason shall be strictly on appointment which can be scheduled via the Help Desk/Servicom. Note that COVID-19 guidelines are strictly enforced. No face mask, no entry.

What is the minimum lease duration?

Two years but long-term leases of 5 years and above are given a higher priority.

Is smoking permitted within the facility?

No. Smoking is not permitted within government-owned buildings.

What are the official opening times of the facility?

Weekdays 8:00am to 5:00pm

Any other information regarding the lease of the facility?

All prospective tenants are subject to legal, financial and HSSE due diligence.

Can we access the building without having prior appointment with anybody?

Yes, if its for enquiries only and access will be limited to the reception area.

Can we access the building on weekends?

No, only weekdays.

Do I need some special kind of pass to access the facility?

Yes, a kind of special pass must be issued after the visitor has been confirmed to have an appointment and registered with SERVICOM.

Can the facility be used for social functions or movie and music sets? No, the facility is government facility and designated for official purpose only.

Can I carry out business transactions with firms in the facility?

Yes, after due security clearance has been done.
