NCDMB, IYC to organize Niger Delta stakeholders Youth Summit

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and the Ijaw Youth Congress (IYC) have concluded arrangements to organize a Niger Delta Stakeholders Youth Summit.

The Youth Summit will hold in the first quarter of 2015 in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State and will be attended by about 1000 youth delegates drawn from the nine oil earing states.

In a statement, the Board explained that it decided to sponsor event as part of its capacity building activities for stakeholders of the oil and gas industry.

It further explained that the youth summit will provide an opportunity to educate youths of the Niger Delta extraction on the various opportunities available in the oil and gas industry and how they can take advantage of them.
